How much does a composite deck cost in Eugene?

Most Tekton composite deck projects range from $18,000 to $55,000+ depending on size, material tier, railing system, and site conditions. How much does a new fence cost in Eugene?

Fence work is priced by the linear foot, and in Lane County it generally runs from about $18 to $90 per foot. Material, height, gates, terrain and post system all move it. See the fence cost breakdown for the tiers.

Do you provide fixed-price quotes?

Yes. After a site visit you get a written proposal with a single fixed price — every board, fastener, joist and post cap listed. If the scope does not change, the price does not change. If something genuinely hidden turns up, we stop and show you before any work continues.

What towns do you work in?

Is Tekton licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. Tekton Construction & Repair LLC holds Oregon CCB License #247589 and carries general liability insurance. You can verify the license yourself through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board search.

Do I need a permit for a deck or fence?

It depends on the height and the location, and it is one of the things we identify at the site visit. Whatever your project needs is spelled out in the proposal, so it is not something you find out about later. The City of Eugene residential permit page covers the local rules.

What composite decking brands do you install?

We build with TimberTech AdvancedPVC, Trex and Fiberon composite decking, and we still build in pressure-treated wood when that is the right call for the budget. More on each line is on the composite decks page.

What does the five-year structural guarantee cover?

Every Tekton deck comes with a written five-year structural guarantee covering the structure we build — framing, footings, fasteners and connections. Decking and railing products carry their own manufacturer warranties on top of that.

Should I choose composite or wood?
