From Civil Engineering to Carpentry

When I was a little boy, I loved to build complex structures, whether it was with lincoln logs or legos; I thoroughly enjoyed working with my hands. My love of building grew with me, and I went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I worked for several years as a civil engineer, but it left me unfulfilled. It wasn’t hands-on enough for me. I decided to shift over to carpentry. I enjoy the mathematical challenges as well as the physicality of the work.

Inspired by St. Joseph, the carpenter, I decided to start my own business. My mission is to build beautiful things. The name “Tekton” in Greek means, “artisan, craftsman.”
